Unfortunately, Emby Server is only available as a direct download from their website. The NVIDIA SHIELD (2nd Generation) is a powerful Android TV Box that serves up hundreds of applications for streaming and gaming purposes and appeals to a variety of audiences. Emby’s client app is available on the Google Play Store, so it’s an easy download for NVIDIA Shield TV users. Ultimately, I completely deleted the app via the Shield, rebooted, then redownloaded it and re-set the core (NAS shares + Library Updater add-on) for a clean install of v20. By contrast, Kodi has one app that plays your media files, no matter where you’re hosting them. I tried letting it wait for ~10min, as well as deleting another file (as per below) but still change, no movement. *EDIT/UPDATE: Thanks for all the advice, insight in the thread below. Has anyone had any luck with 20.0 on their Shield? If so, maybe a clean fresh install will work for me.
